Summary:Link between theory and practice in teaching French as a foreign language is complexity in terms of what can be decoded. Complexity is a concerning aspect of what can be observed, clearly spoken or generalized in language pedagogy. Two aspects from experience of teaching French through drama at University of Montpellier III, France: drama and language practices for semi- beginners in French and transversal theories constituted by aesthetics, linguistics and pedagogy. Action of drama present in all languages emphasises pragmatical aspect privileged in this reflection. Language is seen as having a positive or a negative impact on individuals in theatre and in daily life. What about this moving frontier between languages in contact with appearance of cultural transformations that have to occur in learning process? It will be possible to illuminate this frontier through importance given to relationships between actors of text based characters and French language learners.
