Summary:Gibberellin exerts stimulative effect on germination of teak. Under the temperature of 35 ℃, gibberellin improves seeds' germination rate and speed. In dark, low concentration of gibberellin (less than 100mg·L-1, including control treatment) resulted in higher germination rate (more than 80%), lower rotten rate of seed (8.6%) and higher germination index. Light intensity is one of the major factors affecting germination rate during the first two weeks of the test. However, lime seems to be helpless to germination. 在 35℃高温条件下,赤霉素可促进柚木种实提早发芽、提高发芽率。在黑暗条件下,当赤霉素浓度低于 100mg·L-1时发芽率较高,可达 80%以上,且其种子腐烂率明显较低 (8.6%),同时发芽指数也较高。播种后 2周时,光照强度是影响发芽率的主要因素之一。未经处理的柚木种实在黑暗条件下催芽效果较好,而石灰浸泡处理对催芽效果不明显。
