Summary:Hodgson interviews visual artist Tony Lee about the role of drawing and symmetry in his work. He said the genesis of any screenprint would be a black and white drawing that he wants to add color to and give a background to. In this way he gets to make a colorful screenprint while keeping the original drawing. He added that he thinks it came from doing so many inkblots because his drawings were not always symmetrical. It is fun to try and get both sides of the drawing looking exactly the same.
