Summary:The research presents the analysis of a housing complex located in the city of Durán that is part of the "Manuela Espejo" program, developed by the national government to solve the problem of precarious habitat in the country. This project is aimed at a population with significant physical disabilities, conditions of vulnerability, marginality and extreme poverty. These are minimum housing solutions for adequate housing with access facilities and conditions necessary for people with disabilities. The objective of the research is to determine if the housing project responds to the characteristics and needs of the users. The analysis starts from the information obtained through surveys about the perception of the users as to the habitability conditions considering the physical-spatial and psycho-social aspects to evaluate the adaptation and conformity of the users to their new habitat. Based on the information obtained, recommendations are provided that serve as a basis for the development of housing more adapted to its inhabitants and the context in which they are located.
