Summary:The investigation on how free-living premenopausal women modified food and nutrient intake as a result of consuming soy foods presents a significant decrease in intake of dairy products in the intervention group, whereas intake of protein, dietary fiber, and calcium increased significantly in the control group. These results suggest that consumption of soy foods in the intervention group was associated with improved quality of diet.
