Tănase1 1 Department of Urology and Surgical Nephrology, State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Nicolae Testemitanu" Chisinau, Republic of Moldova 2 Department of Urology, Republican Clinical Hospital, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova Introduction: Urolithiasis is an important burden, affecting about 1-3% of the general population.From the moment of detection of kidney stone, patients should initiate metaphylaxis of urolithiasis, which requires the creation of conditions for the normalization of metabolic disorders by adjusting diet, life-style and administration of specific medication.According to the Kaplan-Meier curves, urolithiasis recurrence was detected in 12.1% of patients in group I, in group II - 25% and 44% of patients in the control group.
