Summary:Physical activity and activity space (the local area within which people move or travel) were captured with an accelerometer and GPS unit, respectively, worn by participants for seven consecutive days. The GPS yields two measures of activity space: the standard deviational ellipse (SDE) is the area within an individual spends 68% of their recorded time and the road network buffer (RNB) represents the extent of the space within a person travels during the day.
