Summary:Results: The adult Assisted Ventilation Clinic (AVC) was created at U of M in fiscal year 2010 as a multi-disciplinary outpatient service to accommodate the needs of patients who would benefit from long-term ventilatory support as outpatients. Underlying diagnoses in FY 2016 include spinal cord injury with quadriplegia, ALS, muscular dystrophies and myopathies, phrenic nerve injury, and multiple sclerosis.
