Summary:Methods: Retrospective chart review of patients who presented to the Cleveland Clinic Emergency room and underwent Computerized Tomography PE study. On multivariate logistic regression, we did not find any difference after adjusting for age, sex, history of hypertension, history of VTE, End-stage renal disease, Body mass index and malignancy and whether patient was therapeutically anticoagulated (odd's ratio 0.404; CI= 0.14-1.14).
