Summary: | The article analyzes the interpretation of the meaning of reality in the philosophy of Jean Baudrillard. Since the early 70-ies of XX century in his works formed the original system of understanding reality in terms of "simulacrum" and "hyperreality", is the basis of criticism of postmodern culture, Baudrillard. The concept of "simulacrum", taken from the dictionary of Greek Stoics, is a correlate of reality as the characteristic of no authentication, substitute, substitution I. lack of reality of her copies.
