Summary: | The dynamics of integrated management systems in Yellow Latisol soil in the development of corn crop is assessed. Experiment consisted of randomized blocks with four replications. Treatments comprised three corn cultures within the Agriculture-Livestock-Forest Integration (iLPF) system (combined with Brachiaria ruziziensis and intercalated with eucalyptus), Santa Fé system (integrated culture with Brachiaria ruziziensis) and conventional system. Height (m) of corn plant and cob, humidity rate of grains (%), grain productivity (kg.ha-1, sack.ha-1 and kg.plant-1) and number of plants.ha-1 were analyzed. Plant and cob height did not reveal any difference within the analyzed systems. Further, iLPF and Santa Fé systems had the highest production rates (kg.ha-1; sack.ha-1), with no difference between them. They also had the highest production per unit, approximately 30% higher than that obtained in the Conventional system. Brachiaria ruziziensis combined with corn enhanced increase in grain production per area and per unit when compared to results for the Conventional system. |
