Summary:Psychologist's profile in the Court of Justice of Santa Catarina, characterizing the activities carried out by them, verify their function, analyze the working condition as well as understand the challenges of such professional's practice. The adopted methodology had a quantitative, qualitative, exploratory and transverse approach with a sample of 26 permanent psychologists. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire with objective and descriptive questions. The analysis was done through categorization combined to the theoretical support. From the results, it was possible to identify the precarious technical training in the juridical area, the predominance of the professionals' performance in the expertise accomplishment and psychological evaluation, the shortage of human resources and the large demand of processes addressed to these professionals. It is understood that this research can contribute to a better definition of the psychologist's practice in the judicial sphere, in TJSC, although much still needs to be researched.
