ChemInform Abstract: Copper(II)-Catalyzed [beta]-Borylation of Acetylenic Esters in Water

This facile borylation reaction proceeds in a regio-, E/Z-, and chemoselective manner to afford high yields of (Z)-[beta]-boryl-[alpha],[beta]-unsaturated esters exclusively.
