ChemInform Abstract: Flow Synthesis of Fluorinated [alpha]-Amino Acids

A semi-continuous process involving photooxidative cyanation of fluorinated amines and subsequent hydrolysis of the resulting nitriles allows the synthesis of fluorinated [alpha]-amino acids.
