Summary:Soils with clayey mechanical composition require a special tillage system that will guarantee preservation of the soil's natural potential and fertility and will prevent the degradation of the soil, but with an optimal consumption of energy and labour. The goal of the research conducted by the Institute for Agricultural Engineering of the Agricultural Faculty of Belgrade, R. Serbia, is to define the necessary parameters for the construction of machines capable of tilling soils with a clayey type of composition and to develop new solutions for the tillage of soil with this type of mechanical composition. The primary goal of applying the new machinery is to verify the important parameters for the construction of these machines, and by defining the parameters that show positive effects on the soil with a clear goal of perfecting technologies for the exploitation of the potential fertility of the soil. The chosen conditions in the present study were irrigation for two harvests.
