Summary:In the keynote address delivered at the Berkshire Conference on the History of Women, held at the University of Connecticut, Storrs, in June 2002, the author deliberates about the feminist analytical power. Utilizing a critical interpretation, the author applies these logical analyses to the crisis activated by war against terrorism, the history of women and gender, and to global and local knowledge. Using the reverberation concept -- related to events echoing, theories, strategies, etc., that travel in space and time producing effects -- the author unifies her reflection on topics as diverse.
