Summary:An abstract of a study by Heiser et al determining whether the researcher-developed educational material about raisins and dental caries effectively increased knowledge about eating raisins and dental health is presented. Results show that participants knowledge about raisins' effects on cavities increased from an average of 5.00 to 6.68 (p<0.05). The change in participants knowledge about raisins and tooth adherence increased from an average of 5.52 to 6.64 (p<0.05).
