Assignment of the Ground-State Spin-Parity for 17C through g-Factor Measurement

The g-factor for the 17C ground state was measured by means of the β-NMR spectroscopy with a spin-polarized fragment beam. From the tentative result |g (17C)| = 0.5054(25), we conclude that the ground-state spin-parity for 17C is 3/2+.
