Summary:Factorisation properties are a key subject in the field of diffraction. An important contribution to these studies comes from the analysis of ep scattering. In the recent years the H1 and ZEUS collaborations performed in-depth analyses that improved the understanding of factorisation in diffraction and the factorisation breaking firstly observed in pp-bar collisions. Recent updates of previously published results from H1 and ZEUS are presented.
