저자들은 Kikuchi 병과 동반된 전신성 홍반성 루푸스 1예를 경험하였다. Kikuchi 병은 전신성 홍반성 루푸스와 감별이 어렵고 두 질환이 연관되어 나타나는 보고도 있다. 이런 경우 병의 경과나 예후가 다를 수 있으므로 Kikuchi 병이 림프절 종대를 동반한 전신성 홍반성 루푸스와 감별되어야 함은 물론이고 연관성을 보기 위해 주의 깊은 장기적 경과관찰이 필요하다. Initially described in young Japanese women, Kikuchi's disease predominantly produces histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis of the cervical lymph nodes along with fever; it always follows a benign course with excellent outcomes. Kikuchi's disease is rarely associated with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). However, the microscopic features of Kikuchi's disease can be similar to lupus lymphadenitis. Patients with Kikuchi's disease should be assessed for SLE and have long-term follow-up evaluations for the development of SLE. We present a 21-year-old woman with tender multiple cervical lymphadenopathy and the clinical manifestations of SLE.(Korean J Med 71:456-460, 2006) KCI Citation Count: 1
