내시경 초음파를 이용한 배농술 및 광범위 항생제로 치료한 식도주위농양 1예

식도주위농양은 생명을 위협할 만큼 위험한 질환으로 대개 식도의 이물에 의한 식도 천공으로 발생한다. 심각한 합병증이 생기기 전에 병력청취, 영상의학과적 검사를 통해 조기에 진단하여 치료해야 한다. 저자들은 식도주위농양이 생긴 환자를 수술 치료 이전에 내시경 초음파를 이용하여 절개, 배농 및 광범위 항생제로 치료한 1예가 있어 문헌고찰과 함께 보고한다. In periesophageal abscesses, the inflammatory reaction occurs on the surrounding esophagus and pus cavity formation accompanies complications of endoscopic procedures or esophageal perforation induced by sharp foreign bodies. Here, we report the treatment of a periesophageal abscess with endoscopic ultrasonography–guided incision and drainage, and broad-spectrum antibiotics. Follow-up endoscopy revealed no lesion other than the incision scar. We report a case of periesophageal abscess that was treated non-surgically and review the relevant literature.
