소득이 복지인식에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 정치만족도의 매개효과를 중심으로

본 연구에서는 소득과 정치만족도 그리고 복지인식의 관계를 규명하여 한국사회 복지인식의 특성을 새롭게 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 정치만족도가 독립변인인 소득과 종속변인인 복지인식에서 어떤 과정과 기제(mechanism)로 매개변인의 역할을 하는지를 알아보았다. 본 연구에서 사용한 자료는 한국복지패널(Korea Welfare Panel Study)의 5차년도 부가조사자료이며, 분석대상은 복지패널 원가구용에서 가구주를 대상으로 연구모형의 변인에 대한 결측값이 없는 1,089명이었다. 분석결과 정치만족도가 복지인식으로 연결되는 매개경로는 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 분석되어 부분매개모형이 검증되었다. 소득이 높을수록 복지인식에 부정적인 인식을 가지고 있었고 정치만족도는 낮았다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 현재의 복지정치상황에서 실현할 수 있는 전략 방안에 대하여 논의하였다. This study aimed to analyze the characteristics of the welfare perception in Korean society by investigating the relations of incomes, political satisfaction and the perception of welfare. To achieve the purpose, this study looked into the roles of political satisfaction as a mediating variable to the incomes, an independent variable, and perception of welfare, an dependent variable, in terms of process and mechanism. The data used in this study are based on the 5th year's additional survey material of Korea Welfare Panel Study. The analysis subjects were 1,089 persons who had no missing values of study model variables among the heads of families in the households of the Welfare Panel. The analysis showed the mediating path between political satisfaction and perception of welfare was statistically significant, and thus it was proved to be a partial mediating model; the more incomes they had, the more negative perception of welfare and the lower political satisfaction they had. Based on the results, this study discussed the practical plan in the current welfare-political circumstance. KCI Citation Count: 21
