Summary:Intramural esophageal dissection is a rare but clinically important condition in the field of gastroenterology. Classically, intramural esophageal dissection rarely occurs in patients who are anticoagulated or have poor medical condition, and its clinical presentation may include chest pain, dysphagia and hematemesis.
