모바일 앱 접근성에 대한 연구 모바일 애플리케이션 콘텐츠 지침 국가표준 2.0을 기반으로 모바일 앱 쇼핑몰 연구

2008년 4월 11일 장애인차별금지법이 제정이 되면서 웹 접근성 인식제고를 통해 웹 접근성 환경 개선 효과를 거두었다. 최근에는 PC환경에서 모바일 환경으로 변화되고 국내 스마트 폰 기기 이용이 활발해지면서 모바일의 중요성이 부각되고 있으나 아직 모바일 앱 접근성은 미래창조과학부 민간 모바일 앱 접근성 추이에 의하면 2015년 78.1%로 아직 많이 부족한 상황으로 대부분의 앱은 비장애인들을 대상으로 개발한다는 것이 모바일 앱 접근성 부족의 가장 큰 원인으로 볼 수 있을 것이다. 모바일쇼핑 실태조사에 따르면 구매혜택과 배송 등의 이유로 모바일쇼핑 이용자가 PC쇼핑 이용자를 앞선 결과를 볼 수 있다. 본 연구는 ‘모바일 애플리케이션 콘텐츠 접근성 지침 2.0’ 지침에 따른 모바일 앱의 지침 준수율을 파악한다. 또한 디자인적 관점에서 지침 적용에 따른 모바일 앱의 변화와 사용자에게 미치는 영향 등을 파악할 수 있으며 이는 향후 앱 접근성 준수에 관련한 이론적인 토대를 제공할 수 있을 것이다. As the Disability Discrimination Act was enacted on April 11, 2008, the environment for web accessibility improved through increased awareness of web accessibility. In recent years, web environment has shifted from PC to mobile system and also the latter has gained more importance as domestic smartphone devices are more used. According to the report 'The Trend of Accessibility to Mobile Applications', which was released by Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, however, the rate is still 78.1% as of 2015, which is not satisfactory. The main reason for the low accessibility is attributed to the development of mobile applications targeting for non-disabled people only. According to the survey 'Current Conditions of Mobile Shopping', more people do shopping on a mobile device than on PC due to purchasing and shipping benefits. In this study, we examine the compliance rate with the guideline for the mobile app 'Mobile Application Contents Accessibility Guideline 2.0'. In addition, we attempt to know the effect of applying the guideline on mobile application and its users from a design point of view. We expect the findings of this study to provide a theoretical background for the compliance with app accessibility. KCI Citation Count: 1
