오장환의 ‘노래’ 충동과 신세대 시인들의 우리말 구어체 감각 ― 한국시학회 제41회 학술대회 ‘오장환과 그의 시대’에 부쳐

이 논문은 제 41차 한국시학회 학술대회의 ‘오장환과 그의 시대’에서 제기된 몇 가지 중요한 논점을 다루었다. 첫째, 오장환의 ‘노래’에 대한 강고한 태도와 노래양식의 당대적 가치와 선대(先代) ‘-노라체’의 계승 문제. 둘째, 오장환의 시(제목)의 변경 및 시구 수정 문제- 하기와라 사쿠타로[萩原朔太郎]의 동명의 시와의 관련성. 그리고 오장환을 비롯한 일제말기 신세대 시인들의 우리말 구어체 감각과 언어미학 문제 등이다. 오장환의 ‘노래’ 편향성은 종교적 구원과 염원을 담은 일제말기 시의 노래의 양식적 본질을 구현하면서 또 근대시의 양식론적 문제와 연관되어 있다는 점에서 시사적인 중요성을 내포한다. 일제말기 신세대 시인들의 가치는 궁극적으로 언어미학, 특히 근대시의 초창기부터 재기된 ‘조선어 구어체 시의 음률적 계승’에 있다고 판단되며, 오장환의 시제목의 개명이나 수정 역시 이 범주에서 설명된다. This paper addressed some issues raised at the 41st conference of the association of Korean Poetry, theme of which was "Oh, Jang-Whan and His Times"; first, his adamant attitude toward the style of song, as well as its contemporary value and succession of '-nora' style; second, the modification of the title or phrases of his poems-the relationship with the one of Hakiwara Sakutaku, which possesses the same title; third, the sense of Korean colloquial language of the 'new generation' including Oh and aesthetics of the language in late Japanese Colonial Era. His songs connote the suggestive importance in that they express the essence of the style of songs and poems involving religious salvation and desire and are linked to the issue of the style of the Modern Poetry. The conclusion of this thesis is as follows: the value of the 'new generation' in late Japanese Colonial Era is considered to be included in the aesthetics of language, especially the musical succession of the poems of Korean colloquial language, and the modification of the title is also explained in this context.
