제주도 곶자왈지대의 지질 특성
곶자왈지대는 제주도의 잘 알려진 독특한 화산 지형 중 하나이다. 우리는 용암류의 분포와 유형, 암석화학및 절대연대에 근거하여 곶자왈지대의 지질 특성을 요약하여 보고한다. 이 결과는 현재 훼손되지 않은 곶자왈지대 분포지에 대한 전면적인 재조사 및 각 지역의 특징에 맞는 보전 관리 계획을 수립할 필요성을 제기한다.
