임진강대에서 보장산조면암의 SHRIMP U-Pb 저어콘 연대측정과 층서적 의미

이 논문은 보장산조면암에 대한 SHRIMP 저어콘 U-Pb 연령측정을 실시함으로서 이들의 정치시기와 층서관계를 확실하게 하였다. 보장산조면암은 임진강대 남변부에서 김포층군을 관입하는 돔상 화산암체를 나타낸다. 김포층군은 경기육괴의 원생누대 변성암류와 임진강대의 데본기 연천층군과의 경계부에 형성된 신장성 변형작용의 경기전단대 혹은 전곡단층을 따라 고립적으로 발달하는 작은 분지에 퇴적되어 있다. 보장산조면암은SHRIMP U-Pb 측정에 의하면 230.5±1.5 Ma (n=10, 2σ)에 집중되는 일치곡선 연령을 나타내며, 임진강대에서송림 조산운동 중에 일어났던 보장산조면암에 대한 삼첩기 후엽의 새로운 정치시기를 나타낸다. 그러므로 이연령은 보장산조면암이 삼첩기 후엽의 화산암이라는 것을 암시할 뿐만 아니라, 이 지역의 김포층군이 적어도보장산조면암이 삼첩기 후엽에 관입되기 이전에 퇴적되었음을 시사해준다. We determined the emplacement timing and stratigraphic relationship of the Bojangsan Trachyte based on field investigation and SHRIMP U-Pb zircon dating. The Bojangsan Trachyte forms a volcanic dome intruding the Gimpo Group in the southern margin of the Imjingang belt. The Gimpo Group is deposited in small basin that developed along Gyeonggi shear zone and Jeongok fault, presumably formed by extensional deformation along the boundary between Imjingang belt and Gyeonggi massif. The concordia age of 230.5±1.5 Ma (n=10, 2σ) from SHRIMP U-Pb dating indicates the emplacement timing of the Bojangsan Trachyte in the Imjingang belt, suggests the Bojangsan Trachyte to be Late Triassic volcanic rocks. This implies the depositional timing of the Gimpo Group to be constrained as Late Triassic before intrusion of the Bojangsan Trachyte. KCI Citation Count: 4
