내소사 <영산회괘불도> 디자인 구성과 표현방법 사례연구

본 연구는 내소사 <영산회괘불도>의 디자인 구성과 표현방법을 분석하여 17세기 조선 후기 괘불화의 조형적 특징과 미술사적 가치를 조명하였다. 본 작품은 정방형에 가까운 구도와 7존 형식의 존상 배치를 통해 안정감을 형성하며, 삼곡의 자세를 활용하여 신성한 분위기를 강조하였다. 색채와 문양 표현에서는 녹색, 청색, 백색 등의 채색과 정교한 세부 묘사를 적용하여 화면의 완성도를 높였다. 보존 과정에서의 색채 변화와 안료 박락 현상을 분석한 결과, 원형을 유지하는 과정에서 여러 차례 보수 작업이 이루어졌으며, 향후 정밀한 보존 및 복원 연구의 필요성이 제기되었다. 본 연구는 내소사 <영산회괘불도>가 지닌 조형적 특징을 규명함으로써 조선 후기 괘불화 연구에 기여하며, 향후 유사한 작품들과의 비교 분석을 통해 보다 심층적인 연구가 이루어질 필요성을 제시하였다. This study analyzes the design composition and expressive techniques of the Naesosa Yeongsan Hoe Gwaebuldo, highlighting its formative characteristics and art historical significance within the 17th-century late Joseon period Buddhist paintings. The artwork, nearly square in shape, adopts a symmetrical seven-figure format to achieve balance and stability, while the Samgok posture enhances its sacred atmosphere. The use of green, blue, and white pigments along with intricate detailing enriches the composition. The study also examines the impact of preservation treatments, revealing color changes and pigment loss due to multiple restoration efforts, emphasizing the need for precise conservation research. By identifying the distinctive formative aspects of the Naesosa Yeongsan Hoe Gwaebuldo, this research contributes to the study of late Joseon Buddhist paintings and calls for further comparative analysis with similar artworks for deeper insights.
