전후 한국용접조각에 발현된 특이성의 배치로서 전쟁 기계 연구 -펠릭스 가타리의 분열분석 이론을 바탕으로

본 연구는 펠릭스 가타리의 분열분석 이론을 바탕으로 전후 한국용접조각에 발현된 특이성의 배치를 분석한 논문이다. 전후 한국용접조각은 전후의 시대 상황과 전쟁의 기술적·물질적 상관물을 조각의 매체 조건으로 포함해, 전쟁-기술의 관계를 예술적 배치로 전환하는 특징을 보인다. 본 논문은 이러한 특이성의 배치를 분석하기 위해 전후 한국용접조각과 분열분석의 개념들과의 연관성을 고찰하고, 이를 바탕으로 전쟁 기계 개념을 적용해 전후 한국용접조각에 발현된 특이성의 배치 세 측면을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 1. 변용태적 측면에서, 물질흐름과의 일체감을 실현한 조각 방식에 용접조각의 기술적·물질적 요소가 상호작용하였음을 발견할 수 있었다. 무기 제조기술인 용접을 조각의 기술적 지지체로, 전쟁의 잔해인 철을 조각의 물질적 토대로 바꾸어버리는 이러한 변용태는 기존 흐름에 대한 반격과 저항으로서 새로운 배치를 창조하였음을 알 수 있었다. 2. 공간-지리적 측면에서, 조각에 전쟁의 폐허를 드러냄과 동시에 새로운 공간 인식을 창조한 ‘부재’의 공간은 파괴적 공간을 창조적 공간으로 바꾸는 특이성의 배치임을 알 수 있었다. 또 중력의 질서에 저항하는 특이성이 조각에 비정형적인 형태로 나타난 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 3. 대수적 측면에서, 기존 흐름을 변화해 나아가는 조각 구성방식을 통해 ‘특이성의 집합체’에 함의된 실질적 의미의 ‘변이’를 실현하는 방식을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론적으로, 본 논문은 전후 한국용접조각이 전쟁-기술의 흐름을 예술적 배치로 전환하는 과정을 분석하여, 한국용접조각에 대한 해석관점을 풍부하게 하고 기술과 예술의 관계를 새로운 시각에서 조명한다. 이는 동시대 새로운 형태의 갈등과 비교해 예술적 접점의 발견을 위한 지표로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. This study analyzes the Assemblage of Singularity manifested in Post-War Korean Welded Sculpture based on Felix Guattari's theory of Schizoanalysis. The Post-War Korean Welded Sculpture shows the characteristic of converting the relationship between war and technology into artistic Assemblage by including the post-war era situation and the technical and material correlation of the war as Medium-Conditions for the Sculpture. To analyze the Assemblage of this Singularity, this paper examines the relationship between Post-War Korean Welded Sculpture and Schizoanalysis, and applies the concept of War Machine to analyze three aspects of the Assemblage of Singularity manifested in Post-War Korean Welded Sculpture. As a result of the study, 1. From the aspect of Transformationality, it was found that the technical and material elements of the Welded Sculpture interacted with the sculpture method, which realized a sense of unity with the material flow. It can be seen that this transformation, which converts welding, a weapon manufacturing technology, into a technical support for a Sculpture and iron, a remnant of war, into a material support for a Sculpture, created a new Assemblage as a counterattack and resistance to the existing flow. 2. From the aspect of Space-Geography, It can be seen that the space of ‘Absence’ that reveals the ruins of war in the Sculpture and creates a new spatial perception is an Assemblage of Singularity that transforms a destructive space into a creative space. In addition, it was confirmed that the Singularity resisting the order of gravity appeared in an atypical form in the Sculpture. 3. From the aspect of Algebra, it was possible to confirm a method of realizing the Variation’ of the practical meaning defined in the ‘Assemblage’ through the method of constructing Sculpture that change the existing flow. In conclusion, This paper analyzes the process of converting the flow of war-technology into artistic Assemblage through Post-War Korean Welded Sculpture to enrich the perspective of interpretation of Korean Welded Sculpture and illuminate the relationship between technology and art from a new perspective.
