특성화고 졸업생의 진로에 대한 교육 관련 영향 요인 탐색

본 연구의 목적은 특성화고등학교 졸업생의 진로에 유의미한 영향을 주는 교육관련 변수를 규명하고, 교수학습 과정을 개선하기 위한 정책적 방안을 제안하는 데 있다. 이를 위해서 한국직업능력연구원에서 2016년 고등학교 2학년에 재학 중인 전국 고등학생 중 확률표집으로 구축한 한국교육고용패널(KEEPⅡ)의 1~3차 연도 데이터를 분석했다. 본 연구의 종속변수는 특성화고 졸업생의 대학진학 여부, 취업여부, 직장만족도 등이고, 독립변수는 교수학습만족도, 동아리만족도, 진로수업만족도, 진로체험만족도, 취업지도만족도, 교사의 열의 등이다. 데이터는 로지스틱스 회귀분석과 위계적 중다회귀분석을 적용하여 분석했고, 연구결과 특성화고의 2학년 교육활동 관련 변수 중 취업여부에는 2학년 취업지도만족도가 유의미하게 긍정적인 영향을 주었고, 3학년 교육활동 중에는 진로수업만족도, 취업지도만족도, 3학년 교사의 열의 등이 유의미하게 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 2학년 교육활동 변수 중 대학진학 여부에는 취업지도만족도가 유의미하게 긍정적인 영향을 주었고, 3학년 교육활동 변수 중에는 교수학습만족도, 진로수업만족도가 긍정적인 영향을 주었으나 취업지도 만족도는 부정적인 영향을 주었다. 취업자의 직장만족도에 대해서는 2학년 교수학습만족도와 3학년 교수학습만족도가 유의미하게 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 이러한 연구결과 바탕으로 특성화고등학교 교수학습 과정 개선을 위한 방안을 제시했다. The purpose of this study is to identify education-related variables that significantly influence the career paths of vocational high school graduates and to propose policy measures for improving the teaching and learning process. To this end, data from the first to third waves of the Korean Education and Employment Panel II (KEEP II), established through probabilistic sampling of high school sophomores across South Korea by the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training in 2016, were analyzed. The dependent variables of this study include college enrollment, employment status, and job satisfaction among vocational high school graduates. The independent variables include satisfaction with teaching and learning, satisfaction with extracurricular activities, satisfaction with career education classes, satisfaction with career exploration experiences, satisfaction with job placement guidance, and teacher enthusiasm. The data were analyzed using logistic regression and hierarchical multiple regression. The results indicate that among the educational activities for sophomores at vocational high schools, satisfaction with job placement guidance had a significantly positive impact on employment status. For juniors, satisfaction with career education classes, satisfaction with job placement guidance, and teacher enthusiasm showed significant positive effects on employment status. Regarding college enrollment, satisfaction with job placement guidance among sophomore activities showed a significantly positive influence, while for junior activities, satisfaction with teaching and learning and satisfaction with career education classes had positive impacts, but satisfaction with job placement guidance showed a negative effect. In terms of job satisfaction among employed graduates, satisfaction with teaching and learning was the only variable with a positive influence, both for sophomores and juniors. Based on these findings, policy recommendations for improving the teaching and learning processes in vocational high schools are proposed. KCI Citation Count: 0
