비행 청소년의 비도덕적 경험에 대한 내러티브 탐구

본 연구의 목적은 비행 청소년의 삶에 나타난 비도덕적 경험을 심층적으로 이해하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 본 연구는 비도덕적 행동에 관여한 비행 청소년과의 면담을 통해 연구 참여자의 이야기를 이해하고 그 의미를 탐색하였다. 특히, 과거 및 현재, 미래의 시간과 공간, 인과 관계의 경험을 중시하는 내러티브 탐구를 통해 연구 참여자의 삶의 경험을 살펴본 결과, 첫째, 비도덕적인 경험은 연구 참여자의 삶에서 중요한 의미를 지녔다. 둘째, 연구 참여자의 비도덕적 행동에 다양한 요인이 복합적으로 영향을 미쳤다. 마지막으로, 올바른 성찰이 뒷받침된다면 비도덕적 경험도 도덕적 성장의 계기가 될 수 있다고 추측할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 그동안 도덕 교육 분야에서 소홀히 다루어졌던 비도덕성과 내러티브 연구 방법에 주목하였다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다. 도덕 교육 분야는 도덕적 행동뿐만 아니라 비도덕적 행동에도 주목해야 한다. 이러한 노력을 통해 인간의 도덕성 및 도덕적 기능을 더 심층적으로 이해할 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study is to gain a deeper understanding of immoral experiences in the lives of a juvenile delinquent. To this end, this study conducted interviews with a juvenile delinquent who engaged in immoral behaviors to understand his stories and explore their meanings. In particular, this study examined his life experiences through narrative inquiry, which emphasizes the experience of time, space, and causality in the past, present, and future. The findings of this study are as follows: (1) Immoral experiences had important meanings in the lives of a juvenile delinquent; (2) Various factors influenced his immoral behaviors; (3) It is possible to suppose that immoral experiences would lead to moral growth. The significance of this study is that it focuses on immorality and narrative methodology, which have been neglected in the field of moral education. The field of moral education should pay attention not only to moral behavior but also to immoral behavior. Such efforts will lead to a deeper understanding of human morality and their moral functioning.
