Summary:Lu Xiaoman was a very famous socialite in 1920`s Peking. Since she fell in love with Xu Zhimo, acquaintances condemned her and him. At tha time, Xu Zhimo received a letter that Tagore wanted to meet him in Europe, he left for Europe to find a breakthrough. Lu Xiaman had written diary from then. Her diary, Xu Zhimo`s diary and letters were published under the title of Aimei xiaozha in 1936 in order to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Xu Zhimo`s birth. `Xiaoman Diary`(hereafter `Publication`) in Aimei xiaozha has been quoted as the basic material about Xu Zhimo. After Lu Xiaoman`s unpublished handwritten dairy (hereafter `Handwritten`) was published in 2009, new facts were revealed. One of those was the frank mention about Lin Huiyin. According to Lu Xiaoman`s handwritten diary, Xu Zhino left his diary and letters to her and went to Europe. We studied to examine how Lu Xiaoman`s thought about Lin Huiyin and to find whether there was so-called love between Xu Zhimo and Lin Huiyin through Lu Xiaoman`s diary. Although Lin Huiyin denied the relationship between Xu Zhimo, that issue has constantly been brought up. Thus, by reviewing how that matters were described in Lu Xiaoman`s diary, we could understand Xu Zhimo and Lin Huiyin`s literary works.
