No âmbito dos estudos de cultura, a ficção é um espaço privilegiado para a crítica sociocultural. Neste trabalho, pretende-se refletir sobre as questões da memória e da representação textual das mulheres no contexto das produções narrativas ficcionais sobre os refugiados decorrentes das ações da descolonização portuguesa de 1974-1975. Analisa-se Gente feita de terra, de Carla M. Soares (2021), uma narrativa contruída com base nas memórias de arquivo do tempo colonial de quem as viveu, na perspetiva da mulher. Esta obra afigura-se como um novo contributo para a memoralística retornadiana iniciada em 1975, sendo agora protagonizada pela geração da pós-memória no feminino. In the context of culture studies, fiction is a privileged space for sociocultural criticism. In this paper, we intend to reflect on the issues of memory and textual representation of women in the context of fictional narrative productions about refugees resulting from the actions of Portuguese decolonization from 1974-1975. We analyse Gente feita de terra, by Carla M. Soares (2021), a narrative built on the basis of archival memories of colonial times of those who lived them, from a woman's perspective. This work appears to be a new contribution to the retornadiana memoralistics initiated in 1975, being now protagonized by the generation of post-memory in the feminine.
