Summary: | Each chapter of this study has thematized aspects of what I have termed the “ontology of calculability.” This constitutively modern casting of geography grasps the world as a singular, measurable, and monochronous extension, allowing diverse terrains to be quantified, rendered legible, and thereby purposefully remade.
