Summary: | Given the existence of the neuronal machine, it has to have content, since it cannot function in a vacuum. The brain is an instrument, a means, but never an end in itself. If neuronal training proceeds according to the potentialities of the nervous system, it has to have an aim. What does one train? Why? According to what criteria? Education has to have a plan. Without a clearly defined objective, ethics is useless. What rules of the game are worth the trouble of following? What makes the game appealing?
