Summary: | A comparison of the difference in chemical nature of redispersible polymer powders useful for the modification of cement based compositions is made. Coreshell acrylic lattices synthesised by multistep sequential polymerisation are formulated and spraydried to obtain redispersible powders. The heterogeneous acrylic copolymers prepared are characterised by excellent redispersibility, high chemical stability and good application properties. |
