Quadrupole splitting of the 7Li NMR line in LiNbO3 crystals

The quadrupole splitting of the 7 Li NMR line has been computed for LiNbO 3 crystals with various degree of nonstoichiometry. The different temperature dependence of the quadrupole coupling constant for congruent and stoichiometric crystals is discussed.
