All-optical Nonlinear Noise Suppression in State-of-the-art Fiber Oscillators and Amplifiers

New developments regarding all-optical noise suppression in state-of-the-art Kerr-type fiber oscillators and amplifiers are presented. Optimized noise-transfer dynamics from nonlinear amplifying loop-mirror mode-locked fiber oscillators enable quantum-limited noise performance.
