Summary:Solving the radiation characteristics of radome system is always an important topic in the field of computational electromagnetics. However, for the target with complex antenna and a high number of unknowns, it is a challenging work to get accurate solution. A method based on the multilevel fast multipole algorithm hybridized with the higher order method of moments is proposed. Based on the idea of divide and conquer, the MLFMA handles with the radome region while the HOMoM deals with the antenna region, making it possible to handle with big radome system with millions of unknowns.
