Commercial off-the-shelf multi-rotor UAVs provide an excellent ground for research and development activities and for proof-of-concept measurements. In this paper key requirements and a concept of an antenna measurement UAV especially designed for large-scale and industrial near-field antenna measurements will be explained concluding with its current development status reached so far.
