Summary:The technological revolution triggered by big data is of the most epoch-making significance at the beginning of this century. Medical data sharing is an inevitable trend. However, there are currentlynon-uniform standards for medical data sharing in China; data utilization is low, and data security is not guaranteed. Considering these situations, this paper analyzes the concept of big data and regional medical information data sharing, discusses the problems and causes of medical information data sharing in China, and proposes strategy for regional medical information data sharing in the big data era from the aspects of policy, capital, technology, standards and effectiveness.
