Summary:This paper highlights the development of a predictive and error-checking algorithm that can be found in a power flow execution program that is present in an automated platform of Active Distribution Management System (ADMS). The purpose of creating test algorithms applied to the ADMS is justified in the need to automate and optimize its assessments to streamline the process and do not require human resources for such activities. The ADMS platform has the characteristic and similarity of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and in it can be made simulations of operation, planning and prevention of contingency situations, from data obtained throughout the electrical system registered. The ADMS platform is being developed by an R&D project. The Power Flow Testing algorithm presented here is the first of the ADMS platform test codes.
