Surface energy of a magnetic recording disk: influence of the carbon overcoat composition

In this work we show how the lubricant thickness, carbon Overcoat composition and lubricant process time influence the surface energy of the disk Furthermore, we are able to ascertain interactions at the lubricant-overcoat interface by studying the surface energy of the disk.
