A novel interpolation approach for reducing clock-rate in MxDFE detectors

The MxDFE (Multi-level decision feedback equalization) family of detectors viz. MDFE, M2DFE and M3DFE [1,2] have been shown to provide excellent performance over rate2/3(1,7) coded recording channels, while being simple in structure.
