Summary:Summary form only given. A large toroidal magnetic core for high voltage applications is developed. The toroidal magnetic cores are laminated with amorphous metal films insulated with polyimide film. For easy realization we used Metglas 2605SA1 amorphous film which is widely used in power distribution transformer industry. We tested the small scaled magnetic cores in pulse condition. Based on these results, we made large toroidal magnetic cores and designed an induction voltage adder with three cells.
