Summary:Wireless sensor networks are subject to energy restriction compared with other wireless networks. To support a ubiquitous environment, a mobile sink has a lot of problems because it collects data while moving. TTDD is a representative routing protocol considering Mobile sink. It uses a lot of control packets, all of which are transmitted through agent nodes. This causes agent nodes to waste a lot of energy. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a Cluster Header-based Energy-efficient Mobile Sink supporting Routing Protocol. Our proposed protocol reduces the number of packets kappa + Aradicn times more than TTDD, lessens a sharp energy consumption of a constant node, and finally extends lifetime of networks.
