Summary:A new integrated circuit for control applications in fluorescent lamp emergency lighting systems is presented in this paper. The ASIC design involves microelectronic technology selection and the decision of integration for drivers and power MOS transistors of push-pull full resonant topology. Economical conditions have been bearing in mind when these choices was taken because total cost of a developed chip determines its industrial application. All the blocks, their operation and capabilities, their experimental waveforms and microelectronic tools used for this purpose are also presented in this paper.
