Chromatic dispersion monitoring using partial optical filtering and phase-shift detection of bit rate and doubled half bit rate frequency components

We demonstrate dispersion monitoring technique by comparing the phase of RF components at the bit rate and the doubled half-bit-rate after partial-optical-filtering. This technique enhances the monitoring range by four times compared to conventional phase-shift-detection techniques.
