Wide-band polarization-independent optical time demultiplexer based on double-pumped FWM in SOA
A new scheme for a polarization- and wavelength-transparent optical demultiplexer, based on double-pumped four-wave-mixing in a semiconductor optical amplifier, is presented. Effective 10 Gbit/s channel extraction from an optical-time-domain-multiplexed 40 Gbit/s aggregate frame is demonstrated.
