Ultra sensitive and compact VCSEL-based biosensor for detection of protein interactions and dengue antibodies

We report a label-free biosensor system that consists of a tunable VCSEL, a plastic guided mode resonant filter and two pin detectors. The biosensor has'demonstrated the sensitivity of detecting antigen proteins concentration as low as Ipg/ml (6.7fM) and antibodies to dengue virus.
